The third edition of the Khalifa Open Squash Championship, organized by the Qatar Squash Federation, concluded after a week of exciting matches at the Khalifa International Complex. The event witnessed broad participation from male and female players across various age categories.
In the Professional category, Ali Al-Darwish claimed the championship title, while Mohammed Aslam finished as runner-up.
In the Under-17 Boys category, Ali Al-Darwish secured first place, with Mohammed Al-Khalaf coming in second.
In the Men’s A category, Ali Mansour delivered a strong performance to win the title, ahead of Ali Al-Dourani, who placed second.
On the Women’s side, Jessie Paisley stood out and won the championship, followed by Shaden Al-Sayed in second place.
In other categories:
- Junaid Mansour took first place in the Under-11 Boys category, with Youssef Al-Tamimi as runner-up.
- Mohammed Al-Tamimi claimed the Under-13 title, defeating Hamad Al-Rayahi who placed second.
- In the Under-15 division, Saleh Khalifa won first place, while Ibrahim Akhtar finished second.
- In the Over-45 category, Yousef Al-Malki won the title, with Ahmed Mandour coming in second.
Following the player award ceremony, Tournament Director Mr. Saad Al-Mohannadi praised the high-level performances and wide participation, reflecting the growth of squash in Qatar. He emphasized that this edition represents a further step in supporting emerging talents and enhancing both local and international presence—particularly for Qatari players.
