The competitions of the inaugural edition of the Khalifa International Complex Squash Tournament continued in styles on Tuesday.
To conclude on April 11, 2018, the event brings together 85 players who are competing in different age groups including under 9 years, under 11 years, under 13 years and under 15 years in addition to Men’s event.
In Men’s event, Qatar’s Said Azlan defeated Vicas Mehar 9-11 7-11 11-5 11-13 11-9 while Hamad Al Amri edged past Jules Ganox.
Ibrahim Al Darwish outplayed Zeyad Abdullah to set a semifinals showdown with Abdulrahman Al Khalaf in boys under 15 years event.
Khalid Al Khelaifi, Board Member of the QTSBF said “the federation spares no efforts to support the national teams and develop their skills by providing them with opportunity to play with players from other squash schools”
The final match of the event will be staged on Wednesday at 5pm.
