Rosner, Momen and Coll in three as Marwan gets one over Mohamed
Quarter-Finals Day in Doha with players from five nations and four Egyptians aiming for a place in the final four.
The first three matches all finished in straight games as Simon Rosner ended the run of James Willstrop, Paul Coll followed up yeterday’s marathon with a win over Zahed Salem and Tarek Momen beat Diego Elias to return to the semi-finals after Chicago earlier in the year.
The last match was an all-Egyptian sibling affair, a repeat of the 2017 final in Manchester, but this time it was Marwan ElShorbagy who won in five games, ousting elder brother and top seed Mohamed.
