The Al Jewan Hall at Dana Club in Doha was the venue of the delectable gala dinner of the 2019-20 PSA Men’s World Championship held on the evening before the tournament began.
A host of star players including World No.1 Ali Farag, Mohamed ElShorbagy and Karim Abdel Gawad, attended the dinner which was held to celebrate the players and to accord them the great hospitality Qatar is globally renowned for.
Also in attendance were Tournament Director Tareq Zainal and other officials of QTSBF and the tournament sponsors.
The guests were treated to a night of fun with music from a live band, an array of delectable menu specially made for the event, and entertainment from a variety of performers.
Welcoming the guests and stars to the dinner, Zainal said, “It gives me great joy to welcome you to Doha once again for the World Championship. We know that you are here for the business of squash but at the same time, we believe that all work and no play, as they say, makes Jack a dull boy, hence the essence of this evening of relaxation, fun and enjoyment.
