The Qatari national squash team intensified their training sessions in preparation for the 18th Asian Games to be staged in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia from August 18 to December 02, 2018.
The squash team arrived in Malaysia yesterday to hold a training camp in preparation for the Games.
The Qatari squad included Mohammad Al Amri and Sayyed Azlan while Abdullah Al Tamimi will join them later.
Khalid Al Khelaifi, Head of National Teams Committee at the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation said, “Through these training camps, we are keen on giving our players a huge boost of confidence before the 2018 Asian Games”
“We are confident that our players will be able to achieve good results and make their nation proud of them. We are sure that the players will do their best during the games” he added.
