Leo dashes home hopes in Doha
Top seed Leo Au beat home favourite Abdulla Al Tamimi in straight games in the final in doha to dash hopes of a home win.
Second seed Tamimi had narrowly won the pairs two previous encounters, but the Hong Kong players was on top in the first two games before edging the third to claim his 10th PSA title.

Top seed Leo Au set to face home favourite and second seed Abdulla Al Tamimi in the final in Doha, after semi-final wins over Youssef Ibrahim and Mahesh Mangaonkar.
The omens are good for home success with Tamimi having won both of the pair’s previous encounters, although he needed five games both times.

The top three seeds made it through to the semi-finals in Doha, where they will be joined by Egypt’s Youssef Ibrahim.
Hong Kong’s Top seed Leo Au ended the 15-match winning run of France’s Victor Crouin – who had won three tournaments in a row in Australia – in four close games. Fifth seeded Ibrahim beat Pakistan’s fourth seed Tayyab Aslam in straight games.
In the bottom half of the draw second seeded home favourite Abdulla Al Tamimi prevailed 14-12 in the fifth over Asim Khan, setting up a semifinal against third seeded Indian Mahesh Mangaonkar, who also needed all five games to get past Frenchman Sebastien Bonmalias.
