The Qatar Tennis, Squash, and Badminton Federation (QTSBF) celebrated the achievement of our star, Abdulla Al-Tamimi, who claimed the bronze medal of men’s squash event at the 19th Asian Games concluded in Hangzhou, China on Sunday.
The federation organized a special ceremony to honor Al Tamimi with attendance of the Minister of Municipality and Environment H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, and the QTSBF President H.E. Nasser bin Ghanim Al-Khelaifi, along with all the federation’s board members and many squash enthusiasts.
The QTSBF President Nasser bin Ghanim Al-Khelaifi, congratulated Abdulla Al-Tamimi, on his achievement after winning the bronze medal at the Asian Games hoping that this achievement would motivate him to excel in future tournaments.
“We are proudly dedicating this medal His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, the Qatar Olympic Committee President H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani and the minister of sports and youth H.E. Salah bin Ghanim Al Ali” added Nasser Al Khelaifi.
Furthermore, the QTSBF Secretary General Tariq Zainal hailed Abdullah Al-Tamimi’s outstanding performance at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou. Zainal also stressed that the federation fully supports Abdulla and will provide him with all the resources necessary to achieve further success.
For his part, Abdulla Al-Tamimi who won the bronze medal at the Asian Games expressed his gratitude to the Qatar Tennis, Squash, and Badminton Federation for their unwavering support.
He also acknowledged the support of the QTSBF President H.E. Nasser bin Ghanim Al-Khelaifi and the QTSBF Secretary General Tariq Zainal for their support to his career.
During the award ceremony, Abdulla dedicated his achievement to everyone and expressed his determination to continue working hard to win more titles.
