Conclusion of the Fourth Edition of the Qatar Squash Federation International Professional Championship

The fourth edition of the Qatar Squash Federation International Professional Championship, part of the “Challenger” category, has concluded after four days of intense competition held at the Khalifa International Complex. The tournament featured a distinguished lineup of international squash players.

Iranian player Sepehr Etemad was crowned champion after defeating Kuwaiti player Athbi Hamad in the final with a score of 3–1 in a four-game match (11–9, 10–12, 11–6, 11–7).

The award ceremony was overseen by Mr. Saad Al-Mohannadi, Tournament Director, who expressed his satisfaction with the high level of performance witnessed during this year’s edition.

Commenting on the event, Al-Mohannadi said:
“We take pride in organizing a new edition of this tournament with broad international participation, as it has become a key fixture on the Professional Squash Association calendar.”

He emphasized that the tournament contributes to improving players’ international rankings and reaffirmed the Qatar Squash Federation’s commitment to continuing the organization of international championships that support players in Qatar and the region.
