The Qatar National Squash Team Players Tournament concluded successfully after three days of competition at the Khalifa International Complex. The tournament featured various categories, including men, juniors (U19), and youth categories (U17, U15, U13, and U11).
The awards ceremony was overseen by Mr. Tariq Zainal, Secretary General of the Qatar Tennis, Squash, Padel, and Badminton Federation, alongside Mr. Saad Al-Mohannadi, the Federation’s Executive Director and Tournament Director.
In the men’s category, Syed Azlan Amjad claimed the championship title, with Salem Al-Maliki finishing as runner-up.
In the U11 boys’ category, Hamad Al-Emadi secured first place, while Youssef Al-Tamimi took second. For the U13 boys, Abdullah Al-Sharshani won the title, and Khalifa Al-Emadi came second.
In the U15 boys’ category, Talal Al-Badr clinched first place, with Youssef Al-Maliki as the runner-up. Ali Al-Darwish emerged victorious in the U17 boys’ category, with Mohammed Al-Khalaf finishing second.
Finally, in the U19 boys’ competition, Khalid Al-Hammadi earned first place, with Abdullah Khalifa securing the second spot.
On the sidelines of the closing ceremony, Mr. Saad Al-Mohannadi congratulated the winners, commending their performance throughout the tournament. He highlighted the importance of this event in evaluating players’ levels and laying plans for developing the national teams, especially at the start of the sports season.
