Conclusion of the Second Edition of the Khalifa Open Squash Championship 2025

The competitions of the second edition of the Khalifa Open Squash Championship for Boys and Girls 2025 concluded after four days of intense matches held at the Khalifa International Complex, featuring wide participation across various age categories.

In the Men’s Professional category, Walid Zaman claimed first place, with Salem Al-Malki finishing as the runner-up.
In the Men’s Level 1 category, Ali Mansour secured the top spot, followed by Samiaullah Sajid in second place.
For the Men’s Over 45 category, Ahmed Mandour won first place, with Asim Mirza coming in second.
In the Women’s competition, Zoe Makarios clinched first place, while Al-Hadiya Al-Kuwari finished second.

Meanwhile, in the Boys Under-17 category, Jaber Al-Naimi took first place, with Abdulaziz Al-Bunaihsin coming second.
In the Boys Under-15 category, Mohammed Al-Tamimi won first place, followed by Yousef Al-Naimi in second.
In the Boys Under-13 category, Hassan Alyan emerged victorious, with Omar Abu Hamad finishing second.
In the Boys Under-11 category, Junaid Mansour claimed the top spot, while Hamza Al-Dessouki finished in second place.

The award ceremony was supervised by Mr. Saad Al-Mohannadi, the Tournament Director, who expressed his pride in the strong performances showcased by the players throughout the championship, reflecting the growing level of the sport locally.

In a statement, Al-Mohannadi said:
“We are committed to making this tournament a true platform for nurturing talents and gaining valuable experience, contributing to performance development and promoting the sport across Qatar, while also enhancing the readiness of Qatari players for international participation.”
