Doha// The 2017 edition of Doha & Qatar Asian squash Tournament begins at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex Wednesday September 27th .
The tournament will feature the participation of 79 players from Malaysia, Pakistan, Iran and Hosts Qatar.
The state of Qatar will be represented by 43 players including Hamad Al Omari, Mohammad Al Yafaie (under 19 years class), Al Dosari, Jaber Dawood, Ahmad Al Meraikhi (under 17 years class), Omer Al Emadi, and Abdulrahman Al Khalaf ((under 19 years class).
Moreover, Yousef Al Kebaisi, Mohammad Al Kebaisi, Khalifa Al Janahi and Talal Al Thani will participate in boys under 13 years class while Faleh Khalifa Al Thani, Omar Al Khalaf, Ali Al Darwish, Khalid Al Hamadi and Jassim Al Thani will compete in boys under 11 years class.
To be concluded on October 02, the tournament will be held in cooperation with the Asian squash Federation .
Commenting on this Asian Event, Saad Al Mohannadi, the tournament director said, “We are keen to organize this type of tournaments as they will help our players develop their skills and will provide them with an opportunity to compete with players from other squash schools”
Al Mohannadi stressed that the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation will spare no effort to support the Qatari players and wished them all success in this event.
